Celebrate the 109th birthday of the National Park Service by learning about U.S. history and culture through storytelling. 11:00 a.m. Rebecca Now as Elizabeth Cady Stanton (Trailblazer for Women’s Rights) 12:00 p.m. Greg Bilby, Cherokee Stories, Traditions, and Heritage.
Venture back in time to the late 1800s and explore life on the Missouri prairie of George Washington Carver’s childhood. This event features historic skills demonstrations, hands-on activities, exhibitors, live music, and more. Kids can earn a special Prairie Day Junior Ranger badge. The event is free of charge.
