The “Stone by Stone” event workshops will feature preservation specialist Kurt Jordan, the KC Cemetery Man, and will include instruction on proper headstone cleaning, monument stabilization demonstrations, review of safety protocols, and much more!

Time: 8:00 AM – Registration
8:30 AM – Opening Remarks
8:45 AM – Demonstrations Begin

Location: Webb City Cemetery

A special feature of the day will include JCCPS’s annual Flower Sale. Visitors are encouraged to pick up their Memorial Day decorations for a donation which supports cemetery preservation efforts. We’re happy to help you build bouquets.

The Jasper County Cemetery Preservation Society’s facebook page is the best place for community members to see the developing schedule of events and engage with the planners. Several announcements about additional demonstrations and workshops will be finalized in the coming weeks. FREE tickets are available on the event page – please let us know you are coming.
