SUMMARY:Save Our Community
DESCRIPTION:The Save the Community: Stop the Violence Symposium is a one-day gathering designed to confront the escalating violence in Kansas City by bringing together community members\, survivors\, leaders\, and advocates in a collaborative\, solution-focused environment. This symposium will serve as both a healing space and a think tank\, where lived experiences meet strategic action.\nOur goal is to move the conversation beyond awareness into actionable change. Through storytelling\, facilitated dialogues\, and strategic planning\, we will empower participants to 1) Understand the root causes of violence in our city\, 2) Heal from trauma through collective support and resilience-building and 3) Identify and commit to community-driven strategies for prevention and intervention. \npre-registration is required and free: https://form.jotform.com/252247077590057
