Brief info

Marilyn is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Read From the Start program, ensuring that all program compliances are met and maintained and that the goals and objectives specified for the program are accomplished in accordance with time limitations, funding, and other specifications. She is responsible for assembling Discussion Leader packets for each program, maintain book inventory, coordinating with vendors regarding ordering of books, updating web calendar for RFTS programs, arranging essential material/locations for RFTS special events, (i.e. DL Refresher training), maintain a data base for monthly RFTS programs, and compiling reports of evaluation feedback from participants and DL’s for the program. Marilyn also assists the Director of Operations with the administration the Grants Program, reviewing grant submissions for accuracy and to ensure that guidelines are met, submitting follow-up emails to grantees regarding the 90-day final report submission. Marilyn retired from AT&T in 2000 and worked for St. Louis University from 2005 to 2008. She graduated from Vashon High School in St. Louis in 1968.45
