Jennifer Reinhardt

Jennifer is a preservation planner with the city of Kansas City, Missouri. She has over ten years of experience in historic preservation, land use policy, and community development. Prior to joining Kansas City staff, Jennifer held various roles as a city planner for a nonprofit serving small and rural communities in Missouri and Kansas as well as a preservation planner for the city of Detroit, Michigan. Her earlier work spearheading the Michigan Historic Preservation Network’s Living Trades Academy, a job training program in the building restoration trades, was recognized by a Governor’s Award for Historic Preservation in 2019. Jennifer holds a master’s degree in sustainable urban development from DePaul University and a bachelor’s degree in near eastern archaeology from the University of Chicago
