The Gothic Tales of Soulard Tour is Sunday, October 22, and it begins promptly at 3:00 p.m.
This is a Limited – Invite Event and is part of your membership benefits!
Non-members – reach out to chrissy@mohumanities.org and see how easy it is to become a member.
Each Member is entitled to bring one guest, whether a spouse or other, or a friend, free of charge.
We have two venues for speakers on the route of the Tour, and both serve alcoholic beverages. Regrettably, we must limit the tour to persons 21 years of age or older. Please note that the cost of alcoholic or other beverages at the Tour venues is the responsibility of the Member. There are no other costs to Members and official guests.
The Tour Route is 1.5 miles long, and flat for the most part. At the middle point of the Tour, at our second venue, the Tour pauses for 30 minutes for refreshment and rest, and two lectures. Persons who require accommodation for the walking part of the tour should contact Greg Wolk at greg@mohumanities.org. We will have a limited capability to transport persons who tire during the walk, or those with ambulatory disabilities.
If you have friends or acquaintances who would like to attend all or part of the tour, beyond your allowed guest, have them contact Chrissy Sommer at Chrissy@mohumanities.org to discuss how to become a Missouri Humanities member. Join for as low as $50 and this great event is included! Information is also available at https://mohumanities.org/become-a-member/
