Missouri Humanities strives to implement and support initiatives that highlight Native stories and voices.
Food historian Suzanne Corbett will describe how food defined 20th century American culture, and the type of food President Harry Truman ate from his childhood days in Missouri to the White House. A cooking demonstration and samples of from the time period will be featured. The event is free to the public and is sponsored by the Missouri Humanities Council.
