Donktoberfest is a fun, family-oriented event held on Saturday, October 28 from 10 am to 4 pm! Attendees will meet the rescues and learn about us, what we do and why we do it. They will enjoy a variety of activities including a bounce house for the kids, fun donkey-related crafts, a kissing booth where they can kiss a donkey, grooming, halter-making and more. It is sure to be a favorite event for the whole family.
At night on Friday, October 27 and Saturday, October 28 from 7 pm to 10:45 pm, the rescue transforms into a dark, scary forest full of ghosts and goblins waiting to haunt dreams for eternity. The donkeys will be laughing with us as riders head off into the woods on the wagon. Will they return? Will their bottoms still be dry if they do? This event is a safe alternative Halloween event for all ages.
