Call for Nominations
We are now accepting applications for the 2020 Humanities Awards.
Deadline to Apply: September 15th, 2020.
While our mission is to engage the people of the Show Me State in the power of life-long learning, we know this mission is not ours alone. For 29 years we have been awarding deserving groups, organizations or individuals throughout the state who share in our vision for a more thoughtful, informed, and civil society. Nominees should align with our dedication to enriching lives and strengthening communities by connecting Missourians to the people, places, and ideas that shape our society.
Submitting a nomination for the 2020 Humanities Awards will help us further our mission, while supporting other like-minded organizations throughout the state.
Awards are open to current Missouri residents or Missouri-based organizations. MH Board members, staff, and any past award recipients are ineligible for nomination.
Selected nominees will be announced in our 2020 Annual Gala’s invitation, and winners will be announced live during our virtual gala ‘MOmentum’ on October 17th. To honor these winners, we are hosting our first ever annual Humanities Awards Appreciation Luncheon, to be hosted in Jefferson City on March 18th, 2021.
